NOTE FROM TABITHA:
We’ve already done a post called Busy. And a post called Stress. And a post called Lots of Stress. So the topic feels kind of over done.
But it’s not.
Being busy and stressed is such a huge part of teenage girls’ lives. It’s a huge part of ANYONE’S life! So that’s why we try to blog about it often.
Remember, God is in control. As you start this week, perhaps with a bad case of the Mondays, remind yourself of that. And don’t forget to have fun, because life shouldn’t be miserable. Listen to your favorite music. Read a great book. Watch a silly movie. Do something silly with your best friend.
And, of course, read the following post.
P.S. I don’t have a makeup routine, but if I did, I’d try to fit God into it. (It’ll all make sense after you read the post.) Do you have a makeup routine? If so, what are some good ways you can fit God into it? Leave lots of comments! We will reply to every one!
Sometimes life gets crazy. We get overwhelmed from going from point A, to point B, and C, and all the way to Z. Life gets busy.
And when life gets busy, we move things to the end of the list and forget to do them. But don’t we also do this with God? If we’re running late, don’t we push off reading the Bible, and then forget to do it later? Routines are important. And yes life gets busy, but we should always make time for God. After all, He made time for us, didn’t he? Creating us, dying on the cross for us, loving us unconditionally. I mean, God makes time for each one of us. So why can’t we make time for him?
Sometimes we can skip getting our fifteenth snack in that hour. Sometimes you can make God a part of your makeup routine, and maybe you can just wake up five or ten minutes earlier.
Girls, take note. I’m not saying skip meals, I’m not saying don’t go to the grocery store again today, no. Not any of that. See what’s really extra in your life and recognize which things are taking up what should be your time with God.
Have an awesome week! Tabitha will be back for you next time!
