On behalf of Jaden and myself here at You Are Priceless, I would like to say Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you had a great Christmas yesterday, whether it was out of town, with family, or alone. If you haven’t already, pause and take a moment to think about what Christmas means. Even though it’s (probably) not Jesus’ actual birthday, December 25 was chosen for people to remember the birth of Jesus. And of course, you can’t think about Jesus’ birth without remembering why He came—to die.
In the words of 4Him, it’s such a strange way to save the world.
Christmas is a great opportunity to not only think about what this means for you, but also to think about ways to open up conversations about it. Christmas is something that most people agree on as being the most wonderful time of the year. Talking about what it stands for could lead into a conversation about the gospel.
Well, I just wrote the post last week (We Were Mean Ones, Mr. Grinch), so I wasn’t planning on writing anything longer than a paragraph, but…oh well. Sometimes the words just come.
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night! God bless us, every one!

P.S. I get distracted so easily. While writing this post, I somehow ended up Googling Rascal Flatt’s favorite Christmas songs. I don’t even know how.
